During the editing process, even after many years, I realized that, despite the profound differences in the histories, I was always writing about the same thing. It can be summarized as follows:
The human species has been incredibly successful in the last 70,000 years, following the cognitive, financial, and industrial revolutions, taking advantage of confirmation bias and mirror neurons, all recent discoveries about how the brain works. Unfortunately, these same strengths are proving to be extremely dangerous factors of illusion and disintegration with the proliferation and efficiency of mass communication systems over the last five hundred years.
