I was born in 1961.
I graduated with a degree in economics, but I wanted to travel the seas, be a photographer, or a writer. So I ended up working in marketing for many years, with great satisfaction. Eventually, for much longer, I also ended up working as a photographer and writer, while doing marketing for others.

I think I’ve been an indomitable enthusiast. That’s a virtue, certainly. But also a flaw, especially when time passes and of so many things done and finished, only a few traces remain, here and there, besides the inevitable obstacles.
I’ve been accused of being superficial in an era that valued depth of knowledge as an absolute positive. But rather than lose myself in the analysis of Russian literature between 1835 and 1870 (that’s one example), I’ve navigated many waters, often troubled, with many different compasses. Finance, marketing, strategy and tactics of commerce and finance, politics, philosophy, fiction, history, paleontology, psychology, sociology, photography, graphics, business organization, advertising and other communications, sailing, tailing, and naval architecture. And I’m sure I’m forgetting something.
I searched, and when I found something, instead of stopping, I cast off and explored something else.
After a long time, that accusation has proven not only true but also a luminous and illuminating virtue. In this regard, I found an interesting quote from J.M. Keynes, a great economist born on the same day as me a few years earlier. He said: It is better to be roughly right than precisely wrong. That’s exactly what I meant.
However, there’s one art, above all others, that has always been with me: photography. And after having explored extensively and synthesized many things through superficiality, it’s time to focus.
